Clifton Holiday Rentals | Villas | Accomodation

The exclusive and glamorous suburb of Clifton lies between Bantry Bay and Camps Bay with the inspiring setting of Table Mountain, Twelve Apostles and Lions Head. Clifton 4th was awarded with the blue flag status in recognition of its environmental, safety and tourist standards.

A small amount of private and secluded bungalows line the beachfront and are high in demand and rarely come on the market for sale making Clifton very sought after real estate in Cape Town. Magnificent contemporary villas wrap the coastline cliffs and enjoy sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and beaches below.  The bungalows are a footpath away from all 4 striking beaches. Due to its scarcity Clifton is a popular holiday rental destination as there are no hotels in the area.

These enclaves remain entirely residential and offer the most authentic seaside experience on this coastline. The four beaches of Clifton are well sheltered from the wind and set snugly below the mountain cliffs. Large granite boulders separate the large beach stretch into 4 private secluded coves which each have its own identity namely First, Second, Third and Fourth beach.

Clifton 4th Beach being the most popular has calm and tranquil waters with the occasional small wave which laps the shore. Clifton 4th is the most chic beach to been seen on. Celebrities and the wealthy populate with bronzed bodies and designer swimming wear which gives Clifton its exclusive reputation. Many Yachts, stop in the cove to float on the turquoise ocean. Sun tanners on the beach often swim up to the boats to hop on for a sun downer. Speed boats and jet skis skim the bay. Third Beach is more relaxed and is gay-friendly, while First and Second Beach are less accessible from the road and are the most private. First Beach is a favourite among the surfers and volleyball players.  All 4 beaches are exquisitely beautiful.

Whilst you wander the beaches kiosks provide snacks and refreshments. Deck chairs and umbrellas are also available for daily rental. Life-guards are on duty during peak season and on the weekends. Parking is available and beaches are accessed by flights of stairs from the coastal drive of Victoria Road. Clifton beach is known for dramatic sunsets, evening picnics with friends and family walking along the stretch of white sand lit up with candles.

With just a short walk from the beach, crowds draw together at La Med. Nestled between the mountains, with panoramic views of the ocean, La Med offers great music with DJ facilities and a large dance floor. Families with children are welcome all day up until 21h00. There is large playing field located below the dining terrace, where paraglider's often land and parents can watch their children play. Locals enjoy watching the Sports Games on the big screen televisions, whilst enjoying a gourmet pizza and light dining with a warm, fun atmosphere.
